Yvonne Tweddle

Director

Hailing from a farming family and holding a degree in Agriculture, Yvonne’s passion for helping those that need it most, in an often-rural setting, has always been a top priority.

As the MD at Jupiter Group, our commercial partner, her passion is bringing together global employees as one team, investing in and improving the lives of workers on farm and flying the flag for women in the fresh produce industry.

Yvonne is pleased to pave the way for females to hold senior positions in agri-business and in doing so is a proud member of Global Women Fresh; a network that looks to empower, inspire, and connect women in the fresh produce sector.

In her local community Yvonne is a mentor of Young Ambassadors; a support network for young people to help them move effectively from adolescents into adulthood. Alongside her peers Yvonne’s aim is expose young people to things they often do not get taught at school, in particular preparation for the world of work.

Yvonne also supports local youngsters with volunteering opportunities to complete their Duke of Edinburgh awards; the world’s leading youth achievement award. Her ability to enable important transitions to happen within a fun and engaging environment is paramount, ensuring that youths and adolescents are provided with a nurturing environment to learn and grow.

Outside of her native UK, South Africa has been a key focus for Yvonne, in particular ensuring that local communities have access to improved sanitation, secure housing and increased security. With the support of the Nancy Tweddle Foundation, South African agricultural communities have reaped the fantastic benefits that they otherwise may not have had access to.
